Writer/Director/ Producer: Geoff Marslett

Geoff has directed twenty short films and segments of longer projects. His critically acclaimed short film Monkey vs. Robot screened at over 25 festivals worldwide, was distributed theatrically and broadcast on HBO, PBS, and Univision. In 2010 he completed his first feature film, MARS, an animated, sci-fi, romantic comedy staring Mark Duplass. MARS premiered at the 2010 South by Southwest Film Festival. and went on to show around the world winning awards in Dallas, Chicago, Memphis, and San Francisco. Geoff was recently named one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine and received the Board of Regents Outstanding Undergraduate Instructor Award for his teaching at the University of Texas at Austin. His work has garnered great press from Time Out London, The New York Times, The Austin Chronicle, The Wall Street Journal, Indiewire, Wired, and many more national publications. Geoff is currently working out worldwide distribution for MARS. He is also completing post production on a new feature film Loves Her Gun. Soon Geoff will begin developing a feature length Magic Boy vs. the Robots based on James Kochalka’s original graphic novels. Some of his other films include Slacker 2011, Bubblecraft, Out of Bounds, Trip To Roswell, Eight Movements and Ten is My Favorite Number.
